I've spent my career on Poplar Avenue, representing people on the worst day they've had in a while. Criminal defense is my art and craft — it's the only thing I do, and I've done it from an office directly across the street from the courthouse since the day I was admitted to the bar.
Most people who call or text me have never been arrested before. They don't know what a preliminary hearing is, or whether they're going to jail, or whether they should have said what they said to the officer. That's normal. Part of my job is answering those questions in plain English before we do anything else.
I'm not going to promise you a result. Nobody honest can. What I can tell you is that I'll be straight with you about what you're facing, I'll return your calls and texts, and I'll be in the courtroom myself rather than sending someone in my place.
How I work

- Fees are flat and discussed up front in writing — no surprises later.
- I handle the case myself from the first setting through resolution.
